She started her NRCS career shortly after graduating from the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in Environmental Science. She was hired as a Soil Conservationist under the Career Intern Program in the Farmington Field Office. Before joining us she worked in the Oxford Field Office. Xandy Brown (Alexander) has returned to the Kennebec office of NRCS. We were lucky that a position was available again here in Kennebec.
Mark Darlington is currently working with other NRCS staff in the Kennebec office as a part-time ACES employee. Mark started in May, 2009 and has a background in entomology [insects] . He has recently moved to Oakland from his home in Maryland.
Greg Granger is now stationed at the Kennebec office of NRCS. Greg is a Soil Resource Specialist i.e. "Soil Scientist" and serves the northern part of Maine from a line through Lincoln, Kennebec and Somerset counties north & east.
