Maine Natural Resources Disaster Relief Assistance Program

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to provide assistance to support Maine natural resource-based businesses, municipalities, and organizations in recovering from eligible disaster events and related impacts.

NRCS Conservation Funding Opportunities

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) offers voluntary conservation programs that provide financial and technical assistance to agricultural producers and landowners to improve soil health, water quality, wildlife habitat, and overall land stewardship.

While the District does not award grant funding, we may assist with the development and implementation of externally funded projects and, when appropriate, may serve as a grant administrator or fiscal partner. This can include programs such as EPA Section 319 watershed projects, Section 604(b) water quality planning grants, and Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) initiatives.
