2026 Envirothon Season
It's time to register for the 2025 Maine Envirothon!
The Maine Envirothon program offers high school students a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on environmental education through competitive events. For comprehensive information about the competitions, please visit Maine’s Envirothon website here.
Spring Training (registration deadline 3/10/26)
Spring training will be held 3/19/26 @ University of Maine - Orono in Nutting Hall.
Regional Competitions (registration deadline 4/3/2026)
Midcoast 4/28/26 @ MOFGA, Unity
Southwest 4/29/26 @ Evergreen Outdoor Education, Auburn
Northern 5/21/26 @ Riverfront Park, Houlton
Central/Downeast 5/20/26 @ Logging Museum, Bradley
This year, the top team from each region, along with anyone scoring 70% or higher (350 points) qualifies for the state competition.
State Competition:
5/29/26 @ Viles Arboretum, Augusta
Teams can register online here. Note: Schools registering more than one team must add their teams to the shopping cart one at a time.
The 2026 annual competition will be held from July 19 – 25, 2026 at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS.
