Bicentennial Nature Park Live Stake Workshop
This live staking workshop was led by District Forester Jared Gregory with the Maine Forest Service, along with Alyssa Gregory, also of the Maine Forest Service. The event was co-hosted with Three Cornered Pond Community-Lake Association and the City of Augusta.

Attendees were provided with valuable knowledge related to selecting appropriate live stakes, how to prepare them, and how to install them to assist with erosion and sediment control. This low-cost technique can help stabilize vulnerable areas, reduce erosion, and provide additional vegetation along waterbodies.
